Getting beat up by our bad freeways

Looking for the Best Ride Non-Run-Flats.

I have the Goodyear "Excellence" Run-Flat tires currently on my R50. This second generation RF is much better than the 1st generation one.

Unfortunately, they are not good enough. I'd like to hear some recommendations for a non-run flat tire that can significantly smooth out the ride on the irregular concrete strips found on many freeways?

As my car is a daily driver, handling is second priority to the ride.

Thanks much.

I've got some michelin pilot exalta 2's. They ride very nice, nice soft ride. Great in the wet and the dry for performance. A little cushy especial until broken in, but the are consistant and grip well for cornering stuff.

My only complaint from them is that they follow groves in the roads a bit. So I guess this could be an issue to you. Other then that they are a great dd performance tire, that is if you have plans for an all season or winter tire later on.

Unfortunately, I have 16" wheels and that Michelin isn't available in that size.
