Steering stops fro 18" wheels

Steering stops fro 18" wheels
Just curious do all 18's need the steering stops installed to prevent rubbing? I know the JCW wheels need them.

The steering limiter is recommended for JCW wheels because of the 52mm offset.

JCW Wheels
The JCW wheels definitely need the steering stops?
