Wheel opinion,

Looking to get some new wheels for my '06 MCS, only interested in 17".
These wheels are Motegi Traklite2 17x8, 42 offset . I have my car lowered about an inch and I might need some spacers to clear my 11.75 wilwood brakes. Think I will have any rubbing issues? What tire size? Should I stick with a 7" wide wheel?
Any opinions appreciated....

Handsome looking wheels! You should pay attention to potential tire rubbing issues, having lowered your suspension - I've got 16x8 BBS wheels on my '06 MC, and the Blizzak 205/55 snows rub quite a bit, especially over bumps and / or with passengers in back. Can't wait 'till spring to get these snows off the car!

There is someone on NAM running that exact wheel. Do a search for 235/40/17 and you will find the info you are looking for.

yes, thank you i've found the post

If I went with a 215/40-17 would it give me that strange stretched look?
