late 2006 wheel fitment question

I have a late '06 MC and am looking to buy OEM R90s. I've heard that the lugs changed in mid-06. If i buy used R90s do I need to worry about fitment. Are there pre mid-06 OEM wheels and post mid-06 OEM wheels?
