HELP - Release PEDAL BRAKE NOISE

Hi NAM Readers,

After braking, when I release my pedal brake, it makes a swoosh noise? like an injection noise?

Do you have the similar problem before? what's that?

Thanks,
dominos

A hissing or swooshing sound when applying or releasing the brakes indicates a leaky power brake booster. Shut the engine off and listen. if a hissing sound occurs for a few moments afterwards, it's leaking. Test for leaks by shutting off the engine and waiting about a minute. Press the brake pedal. if it feels hard to press, the booster has a leak. If it hisses while pressing the brake pedal, the valving is bad and the booster needs replacing.

If I bring it to the MINI Dealer, do they covered it under the 50,000 miles warranty?
