panasport wheels

i had some extra time in class today and was looking at everyones wheels, and come across someone MINI wearing gorgeous Panasport wheels. I thought id settled on 15 inch K! racings, but my heart may now be changed. The panasports are a bit heavy (17 lbs, for 16 inchers) but they look so good.

i found the site, but no prices (or even weights givben had to search other sites for that), but how much do these run for, are they way expensive or attainable?

Perhaps it was my MINI you saw with the Panasports?

I bought them a couple years ago from a shop in Reading, PA and if I recall, they were $189 each (don't hold me to that, it's been a while). There are some places you can mail order them from but with the shipping cost it was cheaper for me to drive 2 hours out to Reading to pick them up. Panasport does offer the wheels in 15" diameter as well, but I'm not sure if they fit the MINI.

There is also a company called Superlite that makes an almost identical wheel. Not sure if they have one that fits the MINI or not but you can see them here: http://www.packracingproducts.com/acatalog/16__Superlite_Wheels.html

Jersey Girl's link didn't exactly work for me, but I think there are just too many "http://"'s in it... see if this does it....

http://www.packracingproducts.com/ac...te_Wheels.html

Looks like they have a 4x100 bolt pattern 16x7 with 35mm offset for ~185 bucks. Not sure about center bore. I think the Panasports for the Mini might have the correct centerbore?

One the superlight page, I didn't see any 15's with offsets that looked like they'd work for a Mini

I'd really like some Panasports for my Mini I just already have 5 sets of wheels for it, and can't exactly justify another

I had the pleasure of driving behind Robyn's MINI on a recent run, and those wheels give the car a very aggressive stance. The 35 offset pushes the wheels out enough to make it look very serious - I love the look.

Hey mb! How ya' doin'? Figured out what kind of stripes you want yet? The Garage Mahal is currently scheduling appointments for spring stripe installations.

Yeah, the Panasports definitely give the car a more aggressive stance. Love 'em! Certainly look more aggressive than my good old 15" Holies that are on the car now for winter.

Oh, and I fixed the link in my first post. Sorry about that!

They carry MINILites, which are more expensive than the Panasports (and 2 lbs heavier for anyone who cares). The styles are similar, but I like the Panasports much more. (Unusual for me since I usually fall in love with the more expensive item, even before seeing the prices )

Compomotive

If you like the Panasport style, look at the Compomotive ML (www.usacomp.com). You can get them in a variety of widths and offsets also. I'm running Compomotive MO and they're a good wheel.
