What changed in 06?

My wife has a new 06 MCConv. Not a S. First stick she has driven and she loves it.

I'm researching rotors/calipers for the bling look and wonder why many refer to 02-05 but not 06. Did something change in 06?

I think that anything that works for the 05 should be fine for the 06- nothing major changed mechanically if anything.

Seems like lots of places just have not updated the data to include 06s even though it is almost 07

The lug bolt size changed in August '06 from 12 mm to 14 mm.

Sorry, I guess I missed that one. So you can get same wheels but just use different lugs?

All of the stock MINI wheels will work with either size lug bolts, but some of the aftermarket wheels have to be drilled out 1mm or so to work with the larger bolts.
