New Tires Sizing Help Please

i have 18 inch rims and right now i have a 205/40/R18 tire on it. i wanted to maybe go for a wider tire, so i was wondering if anyone with 18 inch rims could help me out with the tire size and dimensions. i do not want any rubbing on the wheel wells or anything wierd to deal with like that.

I ran 215/40s on 18s with 42 offset - JCW suspension and no rubbing.

What wheels do you have? I like them a lot. And what exhaust do you have? Those tips are huge, they like 4" tips to me. You have any pics from further away? I like your ride a lot!
