Tool for brake bushing retainer

I recently puchased some brass brake bushings and was wondering if there as a slick tool to use on the retaining ring? (If you have the current issue of MC2 Matt shows it in the photo.) I figued out how to work with the clips using pliers, but the tool in the photo seems a lot easier and less likely to slip. Anybody know what that tool is called or where to get one? Thanks.

(If you don't know what I'm talking about, look at this link:

Yep...

it's called a snap-ring plier. They are available at any place that sells decent tools.

the one I have is a craftsman, IIRC. It's set up so you can reverse it and do the "in" or "out" snap rings....

shouldn't be more than $20, IIRC....

I paid $6/shipped for a cheap set on eBay. I generally don't buy cheap tools, but this one is specialized and not something you'll use regularly. Also, you can use other stuff in a pinch, like a small screwdriver or needlenose pliers, but the correct tool is very helpful. I bought mine for the retaining ring on the shifter assembly for my Subaru.....it's deep down in and hard to access, even with the proper tools.
