Short'n sweet BP20 review

First track use - Watkins Glen

The BP20s bite noticably harder than the BP10s, but not aggressively harder.

Wear: 1/3 of the pads disappeared after a day at the Glen

Rotor wear: not noticable

for a nice street/track combo type pad.

Very nice to hear as finding the 'middle ground' pad is always very difficult.

Initial cold bite on the street is about the same as the BP10s - I should have written that above. Once warm

Very fast pad wear

I have had my set of BP-20 pads on for about 5 weeks with 1 track day and the rest the daily drive back and forth to work. I just checked the pads and I only have about an 1/8" of pad left

I put a full year and 4 track days on a set of Ferodo 2500 pads and still had a 1/4" of pad left on them when I installed the Wilwood BBK.

Yikes!!!!

I need to order pads ASAP as I have a track day scheduled for next Tuesday.

I am going to a set of B pads for track use and something else for street, will the BP-10's last longer?

Likely, I'll purchase two different pads types in the future, as well.

How about rotor wear with the BP20s?

No excessive rotor wear, just rapid pad wear.

Since I change tires and wheels for track days, changing front pads will not be much extra work. I'll know how the other pads work next Tuesday and will report in.
