Info on 15" wheels & track tires?
Am thinking that 15's might be the way to go...Lower the car, get a little help with effectively getting a lower final drive gear ratio, lighter wheels, etc. Anyone out there a dedicated track junkie like me with similar thoughts or who has done this? Recommendations for both wheels, tires..or...on the other hand, who wants to take the opposing side and dissuade me?

I use 205/50/15 on the track. Should work great on most tracks except the faster ones where you start running out of RPM because of the smaller rolling circumference. Also note that your speedometer and odometer will show higher than actual.
Alex - Is that 225/45/15 on a MCS? What offset and size wheels, how much lowering, and is there any issue with rubbing?

Currently Using holies with the 205/50/15 for Autox.. have on order set of Hannibles 15x7 with the Toyo-ra1 225/45/15. there is a slight problem with rubbing so ive heard and either a 5m spacer or slight modding of front fenderwell took care of it.. once i get them in if i have an issue ill post it.
I'm running 205/55/15 on the street . . . it keeps the speedo a little closer to accurate and me a lot less likely to bottom out, but I still get the benefit of slightly lower gearing, lower weight, and a smoother ride. I'm running Toyo Proxes T1R's and not having any problems with the sidewalls rolling.
