dying brake indicators?

Hey, Ive got an 02 MCS, and am in need for brakes for a couple weeks now.

Front rotors have a slight warpage to them, (felt through the steering wheel), and I need new pads all around.

Is there an indicator to tell me when you need new brakes?

Reason I ask is last night my DSC+Flat Tire indicators came on, and have stayed on even after trying to reset the tire button. Im wonderring if they are feeling the drag from rear pads

Mini didnt incorperate brake pad wear sensors in the rear until 04. You could test your theory by jacking up one corner and feeling the "free wheel" or lack there of.
