I took the pic this morning, put my camera down on the couch and forgot to grab it on my way out the door. I'll post it tomorrow.

sorry

Wrong color for me.

But, how have you liked the tires? How many miles on them?

almost 2000 miles on the wheels/tires.

just going to a different wheel, getting the same tires, like 'em.

The flat black version would look pretty sweet on your ride! That's what I'm working on.

I just ordered the SPTs today.

I went for the black ones

I went for the black 1.0's, then did a mod to the center caps. I wanted to OEM-ize the Team Dynamics center caps.

golden_child, thanks for the pic. after seeing the comparison, I think I'll order up the flat black version today.

I swapped my winter setup (steels/non-runflats) to the setup that came with the car (S-NotLites/runflats) last night. After going out for a test drive, . It feel like manual steering in corners, like I'm fighting the car.

jonnieoh, how do you like the tires? you wheel/tire setup? what did you have before?

I need some new lug bolts. What did everyone decide to use? Chrome vs black?

I'll go flat/matte black eventually as well. I just need to make up my mind on ultraleggeras or another set of PR1's

As far as lugs, I am using the stockers, black.

I chose the PR1s over the Ultraleggeras basically on price. I liked both, but couldn't see the value in the extra $100 per wheel for the OZs.

Are wheel spacers needed on 17" TD Pro Race 1s?

Being new to aftermarket wheels, when/why would you use wheel spacers?

Thanks

Negative...Even with Stoptech's, there's 7mm clearance...I use 5mm spacer just to bump out my offset to 40...

I don't know about Pro Race 1.2...

New shoes!!

Here's Stinky getting fitted.

This is the only shot I got (cell phone). It rained all day. I hope to get some better shots during our Club Lake Crawl on Sunday.

Everyone at the tire shop couldn't believe the difference these shoes made. I had them put an S-Lite back up so I could have a comparison.

I like them!!!

I chose Kumho Ecsta SPT 215/45R17 for the rubber.

It's Beautiful sranderle!!!

The difference is HUGE when you compare them side by side!
We'll get some pics tomorrow for anyone as jealous as I am...
Now clean your wheel today!

No air guns with TD wheels!!

This picture reminds me: Don at Team Dynamics told me some butchers will use air guns with insane torque values and that can damage these wheels. So, when putting them on, only use torque wrenches.

Yes, they were a special order/request by me for selfish reasons and TD in the UK made up a batch in that color with the macined lip...there are only 6 sets left and if they do well we will reorder.

They look fantastic on my Yellow R56...

I have a set sitting in the garage until Saturday. I am having Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 in 215/45/17 mounted then.

They are going on a DS/B 06 MCS with black M7 Upper, Middle and Lower grilles.

I will try to post some pictures this weekend after they are mounted.
