Now that I see the 1.2's in all black, I like them better then my 1's. I don't like the 1.2's with the silver outer ring. When funds allow I am going to buy a 15" set.

Nope, that's the 12.19" kit.

No idea, I know I have probably a good 5-7mm between the 1.2s and the Wilwoods. I LOVE the Stoptech calipers, so sexy.

Does anyone have any experience with putting 18" versions of these TDR wheels on a mini??? Just curious as how they look and feel, and people's opinions about 17" vs 18".....

I didn't know they make TDR PR1 in 18s

Not that I'd go that big...17 is optimal for street/track, IMO...

Yeah,I'm of the thought that smaller is usually better for numerous reasons (I'm currently on my winter wheels which are a set of 15" Kosei K1-Ts's strapped on to some fat blizaks), but I'm always wondering about bling factor. My plan is to get a set of 17's with some sort of Advan tire for this summer.

And, although I'm in a CR/B, pics of your ride are often used for late night, "I want to buy those rims" drool sessions. Love the look of your ride, nice and clean!

Says they come in black. I have a Dark Silver/Black MCS. I think I need some contrast in the wheels. So it's down to either anthracite or hi-power silver. Just want to see photos before spending any money.

I have a set on route to East Coast Tire this Friday. You can find them on the Web or their ad is in Grassroots Motorsports. Ask for David. He made me a great deal on a set with Toyo Proxie 4 tires.

ok, most talk seems to be centered on the 17's, anyone know if the 15's clear the JCW brake kit? Looking for some good STX wheels for the wife's JCW car for autocross this year. . .

Did you go with 14 to 12 mm studs or 14 to 14mm studs? What brand of studs?

FYI, a 15" wheel wouldn't be STX-legal on a JCW b/c it was never OE equipment..

After reading a little more I realized that was a dumb question.

I have been very happy with the high power silver selection. darker than silver and hides dirt very well.

what profile tires are you guys using on them 17's?
i'm seeing some 45's which seem to fill in the space quite well, but doesn't it make the overall height too big? I thought it was supposed to be 40 for a proper overall size.

I'm using 215/45-17 but switch back to 215/40-17 sometime...

45, 1 to 2 mph over at 80...
40, 1 to 2 mph under at 80...nothing to be concerned about...

I've got a question.

I just put my s-lites back on for the winter and I'm realizing how beat up my TD PR1's have become. Is it worth trying to find someone to straighten them? if it's even possible. Or just buy a new set?

I've got the old model that doesn't have a lip for the center cap. Would there be weight issues if I just purchased, say 2 if only 2 are bent?

thanks

Do these wheels bend easily? More so than the S-Lites?
