I do not sell OZ wheels,

But I feel that I need to defend them,
You are comparing two different products,
the quality and finish of both the OZ wheel and the Team Dynamics are not the same.
That is why the OZ are more $$$.

Is your Mini, the same as a Hyundai? (both have an engine and 4 wheels)

just my 2c

Do they keep changing the TDR design? I just took a look at the outmotoring website and they changed the pic. Also, can anybody take some pics of their TDRs, specifically of where the spoke meets the lip? In some of the pics, it looks like the spoke is flush with the outside lip, but in others, it looks like the spoke is recessed into the wheel. I don't know if that makes sense, but I hope somebody understands.

The pictures are of two different sizes... there is a pic of the PR-1 in a 15" and the PR-1.2 in a 17".

The difference in the wheel diameter causes the spokes to 'bow' out more in the smaller sizes.

Anybody have any idea what the weights on the 17" Exel TZ-10s are? I think Ryephile said that it weighed ~16 pounds or so, but I'm not sure if it was the 17" or 18".

Anybody have any idea where else I can get some 17" White Exel TZ-10s? I called wheelmax and they said that they don't carry it anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

but it seems like most people here believe that the TDR wheels are really good quality wheels. I mean, the first reply was by somebody who believed that the TDRs were so vastly superior to the OZs that he thought the question was a joke... I'm so confused now...

I think I've actually expanded the choices now to:
1) TDR Pro Race 1 - Something about the spokes put me off... and I'm also trying to figure out the difference between the 1 and the 1.2. Some people have said that it's only that the lettering is stamped into the 1.2, but others have said that the spokes aren't as flared out in the 1.2 which might be what I'm looking for.
2) TDR Pro Comp 1 - Good compromise between the Pro Race 1 and the OZs
3) Exel TZ-10 - These are my top pick at the moment, but I can't find them
4) OZ Superturismo WRC - relatively heavy

I've got both Pro Race 1s and Pro Race 1.2s. IMO the PR1s look better as the spokes bow out more and go right to the egde of the wheel, whilst the spokes on the 1.2s are flatter, look shorter in length and have poor clearance for BBKs.

Argh, well my ill-fated attempt to get ANY Team Dynamics wheels for my new 15 inch BFG tires has failed. After many e-mails, and phone calls everyone is out of stock or simply unresponsive. Apparently Team Dynamics is currently doing inventory and just not getting product out the door. 6-8 week backorder. My orginal order for my White PR 1's was cancelled altogether.

Anyway, I just ordered a set of silver Konig rewinds from http://http://good-win-racing.com/ (very helpful people btw) hopefully they'll look good on my Electric Blue/White. I really like the retro look of them.

Why didn't you wait it out? In need of new rubber that badly?

Well, I'm glad you found a rim you wanted. I'm still looking. I thought I had found it with the Exel TZ-10s, but I can't find them. I think in the end, I'll probably end up with the TDRs, but I feel like I might have regrets... Maybe I'll just wait for something I really like.

I went to the Wilwood website and saw some white rims that looked awesome, but then I looked at it again since they looked a bit familiar. I pulled up my word document that had all the rims that I liked and scrolled down a bit and there it was. It was the the Exel TZ-10. This is getting so frustrating. Finally finding a rim that I like and finding out that it has been discontinued. So okay, anybody have any contact information for the Exel Company or whoever makes Exel rims? I really want to track down some 17" white Exel TZ-10s now. Anybody have any leads or anybody want to give up theirs?

I really am farther past the wear bar than I should be, and since the weather is finally nice up here I needed to get this done. Also the more I looked at the Rewinds the more I like the style. They still only weigh 13-14 pounds.

As far as your hunt for the Excels...I'm sure you've already looked at wheelmax.com but I just found this sale link, don't know how new it is but looks like all Excels are on sale, quite a few styles in white, good luck

Where is the best place to buy TD wheels. I'm a die hard Tirerack fan but the weight and possiblly price (if I find a reputable vendor) of the TD's is tempting.
I was almost ready to buy superturismo WRC's for my mini and a quick google search pulled up this thread (I'd never heard this site or team dynamics before) .

I ended up getting my TD PR 1s by calling the Team Dynamics USA branch directly. They're in Ontario (calif) and the price was $125/wheel, including centering rings. This was a very easy transaction; the person I dealt with was able to very quickly check inventory in various models and colors and they got the wheels to me the next business day.
