dirty stock brakes

i knew that stock pads were dusty, but didn't realize quite how
bad they were until i swapped my white winter wheels for
my white V-spokes this morning.

cleaned the v-spokes yesterday and put a fresh coat of nu-finish to
help retard dust stickage this morning.

swapped the dirty winter wheels for the gleaming sparkling white
v-spokes and took a quick drive up to costco and the library.

when i got to the library, i looked at the wheels and thought that
i had missed the side of one of the spokes during the cleaning
since it looked quite coated. nope, it was fresh brake dust
visible from 10's of feet away.

all four wheels had large amounts of brake dust which wiped off
easily. if i hadn't just washed and polished the wheels,
i would have thought that several days of driving were the
cause for the heavy accumulation!!

I am thinking Greenstuff pads in the front at the first opportunity!
