Tire calculator

I made this tool some years ago. I hope some of you can find it useful.

It allows you to compare two different tires to a baseline tire.

It computes tire height & width, aspect ratio (sidewalll height) along with speedo and tach error. Percentage comparison to the baseline tire is calculated too.

The only entires required are of the tire sizes... everything else in calculated.

Just follow the link to download the tire calculator spreadsheet.

Just a quick first glance, your calculations for the sidewall height is wrong. You calculate the sidewall height as n/25.3. n is the aspect ratio not a distance measurement.

For example 205/50 tires sidewall height is 102.5mm or 50% of the tread (205 mm) 102.5/25.3=4.05 inches.

Your calculations show 1.98 inches.
