RP: Tires, service, and such
Repost -- just in case I didn't get any responses.
Thanks for helping me in advance -- I appreciate it!!
Linus (my MCC) just turned a year old last month. (Times really goes by fast!!) Well, I also just got a flat tire yesterday -- HUGE bummer!
Question -- do MINI dealerships and their service departments sell tires? It would make my life SUPER easy if I could make my yearly scheduled service appointment AND have my tire fixed. Please say it can be done!!! (I am actually going in early for my service appointment b/c I still have 3,000 miles still on my "counter", but it also been a year -- so I went with that)
Side note: I have always purchased my tires from Costco, so I have no clue what MINI does or doesn't do since I have only had mine for a year . . . please help a service novice!
Please let me know what to do and if it's possible. THANKS!!

If you're a member of Costco, don't they still fix your flats for free, even if you didn't purchase them there? Not sure if BMW/Mini actually fixes tires, each dealer might have differing equipment and some may not be set up for tire mounting/dismounting. However, w/ the prevalence of zero pressure tires used by our Bavarian buddies, I think all the dealers probably have a tire machine or two in their service areas. Keep in mind that not all zero pressure/run-flat tires are repairable. Some mfgs. are stating right on the sidewall that their tires are not to be repaired if it loses pressure.
