Hole in Run-Flat Sidewall

Hi everyone,

I went out this morning and found a flat run-flat on my '05 MCS. Tires have about 41,000 mi on them so I guess I cannot complain. Although I did have enough tread left to get me to at least April or even May.

The tire won't hold air for more than an hour so I need to replace it soon.

I was going to research getting an alternative to run-flats but seem to have run out of time.

Can anyone reccommend a non-run flat tire for 17" S-Lite rims?

I'd like to keep the cost under or at about $500 total for all four.

I would also like it to be an All-Season tire. I'd like to maintain the same level of performance from the tires but would understand if I had to sacrifice a little in that area. I do 100 mi per day commuting all year round so all-season treads are more important to me.

Thank you in advance.

~Paul

I jusrt got myself a set of Falken Zeix, I haven't had much experience with them yet, but there are several MINI owners local to me who highly recommended them. About $90 per tire.

have some new tires for you

Hey Paulie,

You mentioned you are looking for non-run-flat tires, but should you change your mind, I have 4 new run flats for you. I'm in California, but I can ship them to you.

Set of 4 Dunlop 205/145/R17 17" Run Flat tires for Mini Cooper S, 1800 miles on them, excellent condition.
