jcw brakes
jcw brakes
hey guys,
looking to do some brake upgrades. Whats the feel back on the jcw ones. I did a search but didnt find what i was looking for. Hoping i can find someone that has jcw brakes, and can compare them to stock. Also would i be better spending the money on better rotors, better pads, and steel braded lines.
thanks,
tim

I don't have JCW brakes, but did the discs/pads/lines install and it makes a great improvment over stock.
I got the ProMini stage 2 brake kit and it does make a huge difference over stock.
Here is what is included with ProMini stage 2 kit:
- StopTech cross-drilled discs
- StopTech stainless steel brake lines
- Mantex RedBox pads
- brake fluid
I've run this kit for more than 1 year, and it still brake strrong and great.

I did quite a bit of research before I did the brake move. I went with TCE's Wilwood Upgrade. 12.5 " rotors 4 piston calipers stainless steel lines. I would say for the $ I did well. I would have to say the JCW route would have kept my car in better standing for Barett Jackson one day
