Tires sizes and brand...

Is 205/45/17 the best size for a MCS with 17" wheels? Can we go any wider without rubbing?

Is the Dunlop run flat supposed to be better than the Pirellis in terms of tramlining and/or handling? What other non-RF summer or all-season tires are worth considering?

you can use 215/45/17's and 215/40/17's (slightly under the load ratings).

offset wise you want to be within +40 to +50mm. really depends on the
tire if it rubs or not below +40mm. some have bolder shoulders than others.

for summer tires i recommend GY GS-D3's and Bridgestone S03's.
for all seasons i'd use Sumitomo HTR+ or Yok AvidH4's.
