If they are installed by the dealer, I would expect the answer to be yes. Check with your dealer for the definitive answer (and maybe get it in writing ).

? I thought only determined oil changes were considered 'maintenance' per se? Not sure how the brakes would be considered since I think they consider brake pads consumables, don't they? Problems, though, should be under a warranty unless they think there has been abuse or some other reason..

ARGGH. I read saw maintenance and my brain said warranty.

It is warrantied EXACTLY like all other MINI parts

Pads, sorry ... my bad reading. Dont' know. Do they replace pads?

During Service Interval maintenance, the dealership checks the brakes using a special "depth gauge" tool, and replaces the pads if necessary. This is included in the service for 3 years or 36,000 miles--whichever comes first.

Your included maintenance will probably end before its time to have the pads replaced though.

Pads and rotors are covered, as are windshield wiper blades. If anything needs replacing during normal maintenance visits, they should be replaced. If your service center doesn't do it automatically, all you have to do is ask. I've had all replaced on previous MINI's.
