Rear Alignment programs

I waited until Fiona had 20K on her before going to rotate her tires. Upon inspection, the rear tires were AFU'd. The inner halves had much more wear on them the the outer halves. There was no way I was going to put them on the front.
It this a problem with the rear allignment or just the way Mini has the rears set up?
I couldn't get a clear answer from the dealership. They wanted me to come in and PAY to have them look at the problem. 2K warranty on alignments is crap. You wouldn't even know there was anything wrong with your rears in that short of a time.

20K to rotate your tires? that's pushing it quite a bit...like end of the
tire life. Typically you will want to rotate every 5k miles or less depending
on the wear. (I personally prefer not to rotate my tires)

I think you got decent life from the tires at 20k miles... so
time to get new ones.

if the inner wear bothers you, have the alignment checked....but our cars
have lots of neg camber on the rear if you carry passengers in the car
or have lowered it... plus if you do a lot of highway miles it will eat it
up eventually. also have the toe checked as toe will eat it up faster
than just having neg camber.
