It was a condescending reply to an arrogant question. You didn't exactly come across as a sweetheart either.

Seemed like a politely worded question to me...

hello everyone and happy new year!

could anyone tell me the right offset needed
for this rim so the ride will be safe and smooth?

I have a 2005 MCS Cabrio and need to be 100% certain
that this rim will work just fine with either of the following tires.

my stock Dunlop DSST 9000 runflats (205/45/17) or
a new set of Goodyear F1 (215/45/17) just for these rims)

any news on that group buy?
I'm in for one set.

thanks for your help,

regards,

They are Minigolf's wheels and photos - I posted them a while back when someone was asking about the R90 replicas.... He is very happy with them and has had no problems. I was interested in them, except for the 40mm offset....I'd prefer to get a wheel with a slightly higher offset.

They have a slightly deeper & shiner lip - which I think makes them look even better than standard R90's. Also the offset makes the wheel sit out a bit more, thus making it look *slightly* more agressive...

I'm in for a group buy!

I was just at the dealer picking up my new MCSa
Dark Sliver all the way around.
They had the Anthrisite (sp) R90s, Standard JWC and some chrome
one on display and I'd have to say the R90 are really nice but
is it worth $1700 plus labor for the swap?
Is there really any preformace difference? Or is it I'm cooler then
you kind of a thing?

(REPLICAS)$649 (for 4)+ shipping+labor = money for other mods.

We can get the replica's super cheap directly from them!!

The only issue is getting the wheels shipped from Italy!

Does anyone here deal in international shipping??

The replicas are also lighter than the BBS R90s....don't have numbers on hand though...

I own a Import/Export/Transportation company here in PR.

I do International
after 911 everything is more difficult and tedious
especially for International transactions coming to US ports.
but not imposible.

feel free to PM the details regarding this company location etc..
so I can start checking for more information on Monday and
hopefully we could do this group buy thing soon.
I would love one set too.

It certainly help
if we start counting
how many sets will be ordered.
so I can get an idea of
how much cubic space we will need.

the more cubic space
the better the price.

Happy New Year's Everyone

regards,
Charles

I'm in for a set of four - I think they'll look pretty swell on the Checkmate and the snows really love the flame spoke.

Hi everyone

I will be checking how much will be
to have them shipped from Italy.

I will need to know how many sets for sure we will order?
that's the only way that I will know actual shipping.
probably one pallet will be the best price for all of us.

so
if you guys could email Passat774, me or
post how many sets in total you guys want.
I could get a real quote ASAP.

I would say around 6 to 8 sets of 4 rims will do it.

I'm in for one set.

regards,
CJ

If I'm not mistaken

there's already 6 of us interested in a set:

ScuderiaMini
Passat774
Mastersonics
lexlow

let's verify and confirm this
because if I'm correct then
we only need 1 to 2 more sets
to get these group buy going.

regards,
Charles

For me it depends on how cheap we talkin'? How much better than the $579.00 on ebay (plus $70 for shipping)? If we are talking about dealing direct with the manufacturer in Italy, I would be concerned about what to do in the event of any problems. So it would have to be substantially cheaper for me to take the risk of dealing with an international seller.

You can also put me down for possible interest depending on the specifics of how this will go. I've been really lusting after the R90's ever since the Italian Job came out.
