DOH! First Flat!

DOH! First Flat!
Walk out to my MCS this morning and my neighbor comments - "Hey you've got a flat on your passenger side front tire!" A quick glance and the offending screw was sticking out of my Pirelli P-Zero Nero. Fortunately there is a 24-hour tire shop on Florida Ave. that's open even on Christmas.
A little concerned about leaving the car on the scissor jack without anything to "catch" the MCS incase it fell - I was hoping that the tire shop didn't have too long a wait. My buddy gave me a lift to the shop - we waited for one hoopdee to get whatever done and then they quickly plugged the tire and charged me $17.38.
We'll see if the plug holds! :-)

I've never been caught out w/ a flat....my MINI's flat tire monitor has done it's job three times so far. It gave me early warning and given me time to get to a shop.
I just can't figure out who the sickos are out there strewing nails on public roadways. I've dealt with three punctures just this summer (two on the MINI...one on another car).
