Flik, wheels are proably good but you do not know what you are getting..

Problem being are you getting cheaply made China wheels that may have paint issues or casting issues? Maybe you are getting quality made Team Dynamic wheels?

But not even all Team Dynamic's wheels are made in England the Jet and the Megstar are both made in China and proably more of there line up is too.

GO with quality when going with the wheels, they connect your MC or MCS to the road and are a very important part of the vehicle.

Spend the extra go with BBS, OZ, Rays, Enkei, Ronal wheels that are know for quality...

Mine have held up very well. Only problem was the first set of tires that was on them that made them shake. New set of tires, no shaking.

I've been looking for black wheels, in 16's, since my '06 will come w/ 16 RF's and I will run these until I they wear out. Unfortunately, black 16's are hard to find. Has anyone had experience with the Flik Apex 2? I notice ER has those at a fair price.

You can look up Riax wheels they have a black gloss with a polished lip, cheap but a little heavy. Hope this helps.

Flik Wheels/Toyo Proxes 4 Tires

Running 17" Flik Artic wheels on my MCSC for about 8 months. No issues yet. For the price I highly recommend them. Edge Racing did a very good job mounting and balancing them putting all weights on the inside. I rotated them at 10K miles all all weights were still secure.

My FLik Wasps lasted less than a year. The NYC Winter last year totally killed the finish on the outer lip, the chrome part.

Not to mention that 3 out of 4 got bent as well.

I do not drive crazy, but if you live in a place with bad weather and bad roads ... would not reccommend them.

You definetelly get what you paid for ...

Thanks, I am just trying to teach one person at a time the importance of spending a little more money and getting quality in return!

If you had a problem with them, then maybe you should contact edge racing. Perhaps you got a bad batch?

Two of my four Wasps weren't balanced properly. When I called Edge Racing about it, they offered to refund me the cost of the balance. I haven't yet faxed them the bill yet, but I should.

they are only waranteed for one year from manufacturer ... and that is for "their" defects ... road salt eating through the finish and bending from bad roads are not covered I am pretty sure.

these "discount" wheels are great in places with good weather all year 'round and well paved roads, at least from my experience.

Lurch, you have no problems w/ the stock Slites getting bent on the same roads?
I'll be using my 17s purely for summer use.
My Xlites will be for winter.
