help! can't decide!

well the time has come, and i need wheels. now the only problem is that i cannot decide on what size to buy, i keep on going back and forth between 16's and 17's, just can't seem to make up my mind. ideally, i would like to have a set of 16's for track wheels, and 17's for everyday, but the money situation does not alllow me to do that right now. so, with that said, what would you guys say? and i do go to occassional track events and such.

thanks!

Search the racing forums for tire selections for both. I seem to recall difficulty in finding track tires for 16". If you were to get 16s, then 17s later, race tire selection may become an issue for the 16s.

16's have several advantages - cheaper, lighter, better gearing, etc.

17's will give you a slighty wider contact patch, likely a wider tire selection, and just plain look good

either way, you can't go wrong. determine what is most important to you - performance, price, looks, availability - then decide from there.

if all else fails, flip a coin.
