16" aftermarket alloys - feedback request

I'm looking to retrofit the x-lites on my MCS and am considering; key concerns as follows:

1) Fit (proper offset/ hubcentric if possible)
2) Weight
3) Quality/ aesthetics
4) Affordable pricing

I am pretty much set on 16" - I ran 17" S-lites from new and quickly switched to the OEM x-lites to save some unsprung weight, not to mention the relentlessly pounding ride (never thought I'd say that). Personally, I think the 16"s look sharper on a MINI relative to larger wheels as well.

Thus far, I am considering Rota Slipstreams as they appear to offer a hubcentric fitting for the MINI (56.1mm) - I would rather not hassle with rings as I had an unpleasant experience with them in the past. My questions include:

- What is the best offset - my car maintains factory ride height but will likely be lowered moderately in the future w/ H-sport springs. The hubcentric fitting states 45mm; however, in reviewing searched postings, 40mm may appear to be more prodominant - I would like to push the wheels out slightly from the OEM wheels if reasonable.

- Pics - there is no local Rota dealer of which I am aware of in the area (DFW); does anyone have any good images of these wheels on a DS MCS?

- Other options? Are there other competitive 16" offerings which would meet my criteria at a similar pricepoint to consider?

Thanks in advance for any comments

for images of Rotas, you might want to check out subydude.com and click on non-suby section for the list of Rota wheels.

I got the Rota Slipstreams from RSpeed. Got a good deal but not in the white I wanted (apparently no longer available from the manufacturer) so I had them powdercoated white (not cheap) can't beat the price/weight combo. BIG difference in handling, I now go over bumps, not through them.
