bad vibrations

I recently installed 18x7.5 Velox VX Nova with 225-40-18 Sumitomo HTZ2s. I ordered the tires form the tire rack and had sears do the mounting balancing and alignment. Car feels great except around 50mph-60 the steering wheel vibrates back and forth. The car does not pull to one side or the other, just vibration. It loooked like the wheels had hub centric caps but maybe one or more of them are bad. Any help would be great thanks.

Did they ever feel okay? If so, maybe, one of the weights fell off of the rim. That happened to me before.

not really i had them aligned the 2nd day after having them on and the vibrations kicked in at 50 instead of 40 mph.

I guess I would go back to sears and ask them to check the balance. Or ask them to inspect the hubcentric rings.

I would first check to see if you have all four centering rings.

Then re-torque the lugs in a cross pattern.

If they still vibrate, bring them to a tireshop that has a
Hunter balancer.
