I put the JCW brakes on about 2 months ago. I have a 2005 JCWS. I love the brakes etc etc etc. But today I had an interesting thing happen. I have never had the reason to jam on the brakes but today I was cut off by a car and had to. When I jammed on the brakes the brakes locked and I ended up skidding a foot.

I was amazed because the anti-lock did not kick in. I thought maybe it was something weird but went to a parking lot and tried it again from 40 mph. The brakes locked and the car skid like it did not have anti-lock?

Before I contact JCW and Mini, I wanted to know if anyone has had this problem or can test it with me to see if this an issue with my Mini or the JCW brakes and anti-lock

Since the ABS is computer controlled, I'd imagine it's in that, rather than the upgraded mechanics.
