Where to buy Velox wheels? TireRack doesn't carry them.

I did a google search, then narrowed it down using froogle, and found at least 3 companies on the first page of results.... you might want to try that.

- oops - moderator replied while I was searching.

Does froogle bring up recommended/trustworthy places? I looking for someone with experience, IE has bought from a company. I found many places but would like to hear of a personal reference.

Which velox wheel/finish/size are you intrested in?

You mean where is the BEST source for velox wheels?
To answer that you'd need to know if anyone has them on NAM and what did they think of the process of buying them from said vendor.

Since all of these vendors are not ones that we deal with all the time nor vendors that are specific to MINIs we really don't know how good they might be.

However if you know other cars that often use Velox wheels for upgrades then if you go to those sites they might have some recommendations or sponsor vendors that do offer some service and reliability.

When it comes to wheels there are some sources that are definitely not as good as others. That's why I deal with tirerack.com whenever possible.

Good luck.

Another idea is ask someone that knows wheels/brakes and is reliable and knowledgable-
Try ToddTCE via NAM Personal mail
http://www.tceperformanceproducts.co...s.pl?record=13
I've asked him wheel questions before and he has experience and contacts with many different makes and models of upgraded cars.

I would suggest sending a PM to any owners of Velox wheels-

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=29690
see Samtrak

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ighlight=velox
23 pages to check!

Or search the wheel forum for "velox".

Velox VX-Nova Competition series - One-piece cast aluminum wheels, Silver paint or gunmetal finish - Car Front Wheel Drive applications

Wheel size : 17x7.5"

Wheel weight : 23 Lbs

Available offsets (backspacing) : +42mm (5.90") (some listings mention +40mm)

Available lug-patterns :4x100mm

------------------------------
Prices are about $175-185 per rim and $699 to $750 per set of four
If 23 pounds per rim is correct this is a heavy rim to use for a MINI in 17x7.5" size.
My centerline RPMs are 17x7 and 13.5 pounds each[font=Arial]+42mm offset is OK but with 215/45-17 tires might rub a little in the back under full load and if you lower your MINI.
