Tire Size question

Tire Size question
I'll likely be getting some Rota wheels and want to match them with some Azenis...now here is what my question is
215/45/16 or 205/55/16 and why would I chose one over the other. Wheels are 16X7 40mm offset

The two sizes you list are dramatically different. Go to this site and compare them: http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecal...?action=submit

I don't think you want this much variation in your tire size, but I might be wrong!

according to that site the 205/55 are closer in overall diameter to the stock 195/55 so it looks like those are the smarter choice

215/50/16 is almost right on as well. Not sure how many tires are available in that size, though.

215/45-16's are what I'm using this year to race with. That's my choice and that's my reason.
