ATE Big Brake Kits

Has anybody heard anything good or bad about these kits? How are they compared to brembo, wildwood, or ap racing brake kits? I have heard good things about the last three but, not too much feedback about ATE's (other than being a bit pricey) on MINIs.

Thoughts?

Guy

ATE packages the JCW kit.
Caliper is manufactured by TRW, don't know who makes the rotor.
Caliper is, both, plated after machining and powder-coated after plating.

I did a search and nobody has ever posted anything about ATE's brake kit.
Here is the link to the ATE website:
http://www.ate-brakes.com/generator/...brakes_en.html

There was a gent a few days ago selling one on ebay...and I thought I would do some research before I bid.
My dealer here in Germany also offers ATE big brake packages but they are very expensive for the dealer to purchase and install something like 2500 Euros .

This guy had a auction starting at $600...I bid and let's just say I didn't meet the reserve price.

Reading the websites info, they sound very promising I was just looking for feedback from other peeps who might already have tried out the kit.

Looking at this brake kit compared to the JCW kit they look alot different...From my understanding the JCW kit is only a 2 pot caliper where as this ATE Big Brake kit is actually a four pot caliper.

actually JCW is single pot.
I didn't want to confuse, I didn't mean to imply that the BBK you were looking at was the JCW, just wanted to throw some info out as to other kits packaged by ATE. The link you posted definitely is not a JCW caliper or rotor.
