Back in 2012, I installed a set of 4 brake rotors and pads on my 2002 R53. Twelve years later, with over 35,000 miles on them, they are going strong and are the best brakes I've ever put on a car. Fabulous braking, and minimal wear. I cant recall where I bought them, although I think it may be Mini Mania. I can't seem to find them anywhere now. Any ideas? I would like to buy a backup set.
Those old old ate powerslot or powerdisc. They are nla for MINI. They been gone for a while, They have coated rotors on some MINI models and that's about it. Other options below.
My guess is the pad selection from the kit is doing more for your braking than those rotors. Unique design for sure, but I can’t see those being that much more effective for brake power than any other rotor.

That or the OP just isn't that hard on the brakes.
At most I put around 25K miles on my 2018 JCW. While the rear brakes needed replacement at around 15K miles the problem was bad fluid which in some way caused the stability control system to apply the rear brakes during even the gentlest of turns. However, the original front brakes were fine when I sold the car to a local MINI dealer with over 25K miles.
But based on my experience with other brands of cars I'd say it is the latter...
Put 150K miles on my Golf TDi all on the original brakes.
When I traded in my 2006 GTO the brakes were fine even with 50K miles on them.
I got over 100K miles from the original factory front brakes on my 996 Turbo. When I sold the car with 161K miles the original factory rear brakes were fine.
The flip side is at 27K miles the brakes on my 2018 Hellcat were not too far from needing refreshing. Even though I drove the Hellcat like the Golf, GTO, and Turbo -- mostly used these cars for my 60 mile a day work commute -- the Hellcat was a heavy car. (About 4600lbs IIRC.) Automatic. No engine braking to speak of. Brakes had to do a lot of work.
