Cooper Jack

I'm looking to buy a compact spare for my S. I'll need a jack, too, and have read some negative comments on the MINI jack. Miata jacks are great. I assume the top of the MINI jack has a slot in it to fit around the welded flange of the body. Does anyone have a photo of the MINI jack that shows a good view of its top? Also, can anyone tell me where MINI describes the jacking points under the car? Thanks.

I can help with the jacking points. The are right behind the front wheels and right in front of the rear wheels. There are four total, and look like protruding boxes from underneath the car. The are a bit inward from the sideskirts.

I really like the MINI jack. I rotate my tires every 3000 miles and use my spare. It's not a pain at all. I'm sure that there are bigger and better jacks out there, but for now this one does what I need.

I too think the MINI's factory jack is the best factory jack ive used so far. The car lifts up so easily too, unlike scissors jacks where you need to
use a little more effort to get the jack turning.
