Anyone using ECS V5 rotors

Looking to replace my brakes some time in 2024. Any input on the ECS V5 rotors front and rear? I know they are a vendor here but was wondering if anyone is actually running them for daily driving/occasional spirited driving.. I wish the hubs were painted

What year is your car? I’ve had good success using plain coated rotors from RockAuto. Rotors are a consumable, so no point in spending big bucks on them. Spend a little extra for quality pads instead. Pads make a bigger impact on brake performance.

I have a f56 jcw. Ecs has lifetime warranty and I like the look of slotted rotors (their v5 I think is both slotted and dimpled. I don’t really care about dimpled)

Yep, https://www.ecstuning.com/LifetimeReplacement/

Its the newest version and we have different options on finishes VS the older V4 which will be phased out. Genuine is dimpled and non directional on select rotors (most some JCW rotors), we follow the same. It has to do with the vane design. Some options now have plain and coated with Geospec.

I have the slotted on both my MINIs in the V4 rotors. When I am done with those I will move to the V5 slotted.
