Why are they so expensive compared to aftermarket wheels? What makes them better/ worth that price?

 

Some are forged barrels but very few. The supplier of these wheels are Ronal now with some older design that are BBS and/or Cromodora Italy. Top Teir 1 suppliers.

They are made in Germany, Italy, etc and have to endure critical testing for road safety for crash. They tend to be heavier then aftermarkets

Most aftermarket wheels thats are 1/4 the cost of OEM that are not the big expensive names are made in Taiwan or China. These tend to be lighter then Genuine Wheels, but can bend easier.

 

I’ll hold onto the stock ones then. I have Enkei aftermarket and they were listed for like 60% of the ones i had. So was curious.
