We have a Gen 2 2014 convertible and are looking to lift by 2 as we have moved to a rural area.
any advice on best kits, wheels and tires would be helpful. Thinking of Blizzak winter tires.
if we uplift can we fit 18 rims.
advice grateful received

There is this one:

I would never lift a Mini that wasn’t a Countryman or Paceman, but that’s me.

Personal preference. Minis are all about the go-kart handling, not the overland experience.
I see thanks. I agree about the go karting experience. We live in a rural area and the car would not survive the winter weather a d rutted roads.
so we have to forgo the thrill of hurling it into bends etc.
thank you for your input.

Like, how rural are we talking about? Roads not being plowed? Tractor only roads? I've taken my lowered Clubman down some sketchy seasonal roads without issue...Originally Posted by GulfCarib

Some roads not plowed, dirt and rutted roads.
we in Western Massachusetts. And this car is being driven mainly by a not very experienced driver.
so we taking a view better safe than sorry!.
Most people here switch to winter tires. And many have plows attached to the front of their pickup in the winter.

Gotcha, I've driven through western Mass....
That kit linked above should do the trick. You will probably want rear lower adjustable control arms to get the alignment dialed in, too.
