Kosei K1 on r53

Like the title states trying to determine if the bolt holes on the K1s are large enough for the 14mm wheel bolts. Unfortunately I have the 06 r53 with the larger bolts and can't find a definitive answer about if the kosei k1s will fit. Any help ??

Most of the threads on Kosei K1 seem to indicate that they are made for 12mm wheel bolts or studs. It might be good to check with tirerack.com to confirm this since they sell them.

Some MINI owners write about doing a stud conversion 14mm to 12mm before using the wheels.

A 14 mm to 12 mm stud conversion will indeed do the trick.

Those are one of my favorite wheels. Classic race design and light weight!

I would just get the stud conversion, and stop worrying about bolt size. Simple solution for a trivial issue.

And, a picture because this thread needs one...

Regular M12, but converted to M12 studs for easier wheel swaps. 15 x 7 Kosei’s and 205/50-15 Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R’s.

These are also among the few 15” wheels that clear stock, non-JCW brakes on R56S!
