Enkei RPF1 Strength?

How do RPF1s hold up? My car came with OZ Ultraleggeras but I bent two in the 3 weeks I had the car (one was a serious pot hole, the second was not so serious but nothing a factory wheel couldnt handle) and swapped them out for a set of R112 Challenge wheels.

Would love to drop some weight down the road but fear their sub 15lb per wheel weight may not cut it for the mean streets of Maryland lol

If you can find some ND Miata wheels, they are pretty strong and light. They come in at ~17lbs. The Mini challenge wheels are probably 20-22lbs. Bolt pattern is the same, offset is slightly less (+45 vs +48), and center bore is less. Center bore can be handled by running 8mm spacers. Then you don't have to have the wheels machined.

I have a set, but I'm keeping them

This must be the slow part of your day

I admit that I do not have a build thread. I am terrible at documenting my modifications.

I run rpf1s on my wrx daily for the last 4 or 5 years. The only issue I ran into was unknowingly getting and driving on a flat tire I did bend a wheel. Other than that incident they’ve be great. No evidence of stress cracks or other issues. For point of reference the wrx has kw3s, full poly bushes, up rated control arms etc and pss3 tires.
