R60 tire recommendations?
R60 tire recommendations?
Edit- didn't see there's a countryman tire section. I'll go ask over there.
Forgive me, but I didn't search much. My wife's '12 Countryman S all-4 is in need a new set of run flats. Any recommendations? Should I try the dealer, tire rack, or find a local shop?
We're going to stick to run flats for multiple reasons. Decent all-season will do.
Thanks.

b4 the tire gods express THEIR opinions ... <run flats & such et al> I'll AGREE that there are good reasons to LIKE runflats
this being said ..... yes, look at tirerack .... they have GOOD information
I recently went with Bridgestone DriveGuard for the Mrs ..... I got a good deal at the local Firestone store

Looks like the OEM Pirellis for $146/each at tire rack are the way to go. Yes the run flats ride like poop, but we're moving to Italy and need all the bad road reliably we can get. I doubt there's English speaking USAA road side assist out there!
Runflats are necessary to allow for tire hazzards and a flat. You get the safety of not needing to stop in traffic or bad weather and get to a safe place.
At the same time the ride quality is what it is so some compromise is required. Runflats come in OEM MINI sizes.
