Rims cracked, need quick solution!

Hey everyone! I’m new to the forums and was referred to by a fellow R53 owner in my town. So I have a little issue. I noticed one of my rims are cracked and another one is also bent. Instead of spending money to get these rims repaired, I found a set of 2013 Cooper S wheels online for cheap. I know they have the same 4X100 lug pattern as the R53 and run a 195/55/16 tire. Will they be able to fit on my R53 without any issues? Below is my R53 I got recently and below that is the wheels I’m looking to put on.

Thanks for all your advice in advance!!

S-winder wheels

These should fit your R53. They are R56 wheels, but the only difference is a 14mm lug instead of 12mm. I’ve used R56 wheels on my R50 before. Being 16”, you will get a taller sidewall, softer ride, less possible problems bending and breaking wheels! Here is a cross reference too:

Thank you for the response!! Unfortunately the person selling the wheels does not have the lugs, do you have any suggestions on where I could by them?

^^^^Yep

The HOLES in the newer wheels are larger but you still need to use your smaller lug bolts that you currently have.

I use R53 MINI wheels on my wife's R55 clubman. No issues, the wheels are interchangeable.

R55 > R53
R53 > R55

Because all the Factory-MINI 4x100 wheels are "Hub centered", with a 56.1 Center Bore ... you can use the smaller conical seat 12mm R53 wheel-bolts with the larger 14mm bolt holes on the R56 wheels without issues.

The offsets on the wheels are also all the same in the respective wheel diameters.

I would not have confidence in that with an aftermarket wheel.... In fact... I will not use a lug centered wheel on any car.

You should be good to go !!
