I'm still confuse about aftermarket rims???

I've a R53 MCS before, and i have some aftermarket rims on it.

and now I'm gonna pick up my R56 MCS this week. From some of the thread i read, it said the R56 is a bit different than the R53? can someone pls tell me what exactly is the difference?

and my aftermaket rims need the hub centirc ring to put on the R53, is it gonna be the same for the R56 (same size on the bore as well?) and what about the bolts? can i just use the stock R56 bolt to put it on?

thanks in advance

The hub is the same diameter as the R53.

Brakes on the R56 are larger, so as long as your going with a wheel that will accomodate the larger brakes, your good. 17's and 18's are probably good-to-go. 16's might be a case-by-case basis (so no centering ring for MINI wheels, or the same centering ring your using now on the R53).

The lug nuts on the R56 are a larger diameter that the R53. So take one off and make sure they fit through the holes on the wheels in question. Generally, though... shouldn't be too much of an issue with aftermarket wheels since the holes are bored to accomodate a variety of sizes.
