Visual Difference b/w 40 & 45 series

With all my rebuilds I noticed an interesting observation today and thought I'd post it up for others to see. It seems there's always questions about selecting the right tire size to match your car or a theme you are working towards.
Here is a picture of two cars with the exact same specs. Stock suspension & 17x7.5 wheels. The only difference is the blue car has 225/40/17 Tires & black car has 225/45/17. There's a noticeable difference in ride quality between the two. I wouldn't say it's harsh versus plush, but there is enough to notice. The 40 series feels tighter and the 45 is a comfort ride. I know that every tire model is different with different ride aspects, but this gives you a comparison of 40 versus 45 series. They are sitting on a slight inclined street as well. Hope this helps for those looking at tires.
