Its not a bad choice if your not an agressive driver - its not what I'd call a "performance " tire.
Intended for a look, and to cruise the strip - leaving colored burnouts.

Hmm....now you've got mt Alex.
It's hard to beat the tread design, very aggressive, but since I tend to drive hard it may not be the best for me.
I wouldn't mind leaving a few multi-colored strips every now and then, but not at the expense of hard cornering when I need to escape Johnny Law!
What's a guy to do?
At $59 for the 215/40/17, hard to beat though

Scorcher (ultra high performance summer tire)
Agressive look.
Cheap due to being discontinued.
Good street tire- well mannered.
Good wet traction.
Not as good dry traction.
