Which looks better on an R53, 16" or 17" Rota RB wheels

I think the Rota RB 16" looks closer to the old style mini wheels.
But many R53 Minis have 17" wheels.
What do the NAM members think ? ? ?
Show me your Rota RB's in 16" and 17"

I don't have Rota, but I went 16" and think it looks the goods!

Both look good, but better choice of summmer tires in 17”

For an R53 you have choices.

What suspension?

What are your tire needs? Summer only, no cold weather or snow or need All Season tires for mild winters?

16" wheels come in tire sizes that favor all season tires more than summer tires. 205/50-16 or 205/55-16 are common choices over the OEM 195/55-16 which are for runflats. Taller 50 or 55 series sidewalls are more comfortable for daily driving but less responsive for handling.

17" wheels favor 205/45-17 or 215/45-17 but the ride may be firm depending on which tire you choose so tire budget can be a factor.

What types of roads are you on? Bad and full of potholes and hazzards? Then 16" wheels, less to worry about.
