Larger tires for 2009 Mini S

Is there enough room to run a 215/45/17 on all four corners. The normal tire size is 205/45/17 and turns 832 revolutions per mile and the 215/45/17 turns 820. How will this effect my speedometer reading?
Thanks

You will not notice the change to 215/45-17 tires, other than a slightly better ride quality. Fit is just about perfect.

Plenty of room especially if you're on stock suspension. The change to speedometer reading will be minimal and probably not even noticed. Download a phone app and check your speedo against GPS. It's probably not correct on the OEM sized tires.

MINI speed always reads about 4mph high at 60 ... built in <read 60 actual 56>

been discussed many times. appears many EU cars come this way because of fines applied to maker if they read low ..... that's the story anyway.

all 3 on fine have been this way according to GPS checks.
