Doable, but I did not want to run that much camber. Also the RSRR is a very loud tire, so not something I wanted to deal with on a daily basis. However, you're absolutely right. it would perform much better on track! However, the ST-1's handled surprisingly well. It was only on session 4 where they got a bit hot and I started slipping a bit.

I'd love the concave 8.5' wheels as well, but not enough clearance unfortunately. I did see a guy with an R56 use fender flares with the 17x8.5" ET20 and they looked great!
Yea, Federals in general run wide and RSR/RSRR in more so.

FYI you can still buy the older RSR. I bought a set of RSRR and RSR within the last month. Got the RSR for my daily VW because they are MUCH quieter than RSRR.

Oh great info! Might consider those for my next set Federals are the best bang for the buck tire in my opinion. Couldn't be happier with my ST-1's!

Thanks a ton for posting these pics. I have been doing tons of exhausting research on rims/fitment/tire size, etc. I must have looked at a zillion wheel/tire combos. I just can't get past how perfect these look, so I basically decided to bite off you and buy the exact same everything. Unfortunately, just my luck. It looks like APEX is sold out of wheels in this size except for one last set of their "hyper black" color. I reached out to them today to ask when they'd have more satin black in stock. I have a BRG R53 with a black roof and I'm sure it would awesome with the satin black. Hoping for some good news from them.

No problem! I think the 17x8" ET25 is a perfect fit for the Mini with some camber dialed in front and rear. The Hyper Black is a fantastic color, and looks like a dark silver/metallic color. Hope it works out for you

Are the wheels poking a little bit?

Do you think I can run 205/45 or 215/45 with the similar stance as yours?

Just want some more sidewall.

The wheels did poke out when I was at stock height and didn't have any camber dialed in. With the camber, the wheels just tuck into the fender. Super flush fitment. I thought about running 205/45-17's, but with this aggressive of a stance and how low it is, it would rub inside on the fender. If you stay at stock height you may be able to get away with 205/45-17, but I cannot confirm.

There are more in stock if you’re interested I recently sold the car, but already miss it and miss the wheels!

I have to agree with this statement. Beautiful stance and wheels.

Inspired by your setup, recently finished mine, just waiting on my center caps to be done as well.

Not as aggressive, will lower the rear a bit more soon after I get an alignment.

How bad is the rear tire wear with -2.6 degrees?

I sold the car after only 6k miles with this setup, but tire wear was not bad. As long as you zero out the toe, you’ll be fine. Toe has a much greater impact on tire wear than camber. Anything under -3 degrees is very livable.

Are you using the MeisterR ClubRace Coilovers, or MeisterR ZetaCRD Coilovers. Or the more fancy ones?

I ran the MeisterR ZetaCRD+ Coilovers Nothing but good things to say. They are a great entry level/daily driver suspension system. I believe they are made in the same factory as BC Racing coilovers, since they look identical aside from the colors.
