can anyone tell me the largest 15" tires i can mount on stock rims?

also has anyone found any covers or mods to cover or replace the chrome rings around the headlight?

 

I think the widest the stock 15" rims can take (Which ones you have? the 7-holeys? or the 8-spokers?) is around size 205 if I am not mistaken. Probably a safe bet is size 195. The standard 175 size tires are narrow IMO.

 

Could maybe post the question in the "Tires, Wheels, etc" forum on this site. There's a buncha members and sponser members that could answer your question if they happen not to see this post in this forum.
As for the headlight ring replacments, I haven't seen anything like that yet. Doesn't mean it's not out there though. What are you looking at doing to or replacing it with outta curiosity?

As far as the light rings, just wnated something different... don;t like all that chrome in the front..
