Firestone winterforce tires

I bought a set of firestone winterforce tires from tire rack last winter. I didn't get them studded. Really good set of winter tires in the snow. I am thinking i want the next set to be studded.

I checked tire rack, and it seems they are no longer available in the size.

Other tires that are available in the two sizes (205/50r16 and 195/55r16) are "studless".

The firestone come in a different size i wonder if they will fit? 205/55r16

FYI. I recollect reading a test indicating that studded tires sometimes do better and sometimes do worse than non-studded tires depending on road conditions. Also, you might want to check whether they are legal in your state. BTW, a set of Firestone Winterforce winter tires once saved my ---
in rural Wisconsin in heavy snow. Excellent tires!

I run them on my 2wd silverado in the winter. Great tires.

Your right, 205/55 is the closest available studded option. On your Mini I would be concerned with rubbing the fender arches during suspension travel. Some have fit the 25" tall size with no issues.

You may want to purchase one and test fit it with the help of a good tire shop. 205/55 is a common size.

You may be able to pay a shop to test fit any of the 205/55R16's they have there. This would prevent you from having to pay return shipping if it doesn't fit.
